Are You Struggling In Silence?

Living with emotional challenges can be overwhelming and isolating.

Mental health struggles don’t always look like a crisis.

You can go to work, care for your family and keep up with life while quietly struggling with anxiety, depression or simply not feeling like yourself.

Many people live this way for a long time before asking for help.

You don’t have to wait until things become overwhelming.

Talking with a psychiatrist can help you better understand what you’re experiencing and what treatment options may be appropriate.

Questions

Yes. We offer telehealth appointments for patients throughout Ohio when appropriate. Telehealth provides a convenient way to receive psychiatric care from the privacy of your home. Because telehealth may not be appropriate in every situation, your provider may recommend an in-person visit when needed.

We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer that time to another patient.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged the usual appointment fee. Please note that insurance generally does not cover fees for missed appointments.

We are currently in-network providers for OSU Health Plan, OSU Student Health Plan, Ohio Healthy, Medicare or Medicare PPO plans.

Please contact our office and inquire directly as to your specific insurance coverage and billing. We’ll be happy to guide you through that process.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Information you share with your provider is kept confidential and is not shared with family members or others without your permission, except when disclosure is required or permitted by law.

There are limited exceptions to confidentiality, such as situations involving an immediate risk of serious harm or other circumstances in which disclosure is legally required. Your provider can discuss these exceptions with you and answer any questions you may have.

We make every effort to return phone calls in a timely manner. Brief calls regarding scheduling or routine medication refills are not charged.

If a call requires more extensive discussion or clinical decision-making, your provider may recommend scheduling an appointment or may charge for the time involved.

For privacy and security, we do not use email for patient-related communication. Patients can communicate securely with our office through the Osmind patient portal.

For urgent concerns or matters that require more detailed discussion, please contact our office by phone. Clinical concerns may require an appointment with your provider.

We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, and most major credit cards.
